Where to Watch the Classic Tetris World Championship
Even if you can't make it out to Portland, you can still check out all the CTWC action online.
This year’s Classic Tetris World Championship (CTWC) is set to take place October 21st through the 22nd. The Qualifying Round is scheduled for October 21st from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (PST) at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. Once competitors get through the Qualifying Round, they’ll be able to battle it out during the Main Event which kicks off on October 22nd. At this time, some of the world’s best NES Tetris players will converge at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo for a chance to win the highly coveted 1st place title and $1,000 cash prize.
Looking to view the action as it unfolds? If you’re local to the Portland, Oregon area, you can always head over to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo and grab yourself a seat. Unable to make it out to Portland? No worries! You’ll be able to watch the Classic Tetris World Championship online via live stream on Twitch.
